Mr. Batista is well-known, multi-faceted professional in the construction and engineering industry in South Florida and Puerto Rico. He has held top management positions in world-class construction and development companies such as Turner Construction, JMA, and The Opus Corporation. Greg has also managed to make a name for himself in the design and engineering industry in Florida by acting as the hands-on designer of record of large-scale commercial, residential, and Concrete Restoration/Repair projects throughout the US and Puerto Rico. G. Batista & Associates has in-house structural and MEP engineering. Also, GB&A has in-house construction management and General Contracting capabilities.
One of Mr. Batista's passions is helping his homeland of Puerto Rico. He has held several Board and prominent positions on PROFESA (Puerto Rican Professional Association) and the Puerto Rican Leadership Council of South Florida. Greg has also been on the Board of the Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico where he received the 2016 award as "Colegiado Distinguido". He is currently co-founder and Board Member of the Puerto Rican Professionals of Florida and also President of the Puerto Rican Alliance of Florida which hosts its Symposium in South Florida.

His clients include the likes of The Seminole Tribe of Florida, Dorsky Hodgson and Partners, Cubellis, Centerline Homes, Ashbritt, The Merlin Law Group, and many Boards/HOA's. He has been a licensed Structural PE since 1992 (Since 1998 in Florida) and a licensed General Contractor since 1992 (Since 1998 in Florida). G. Batista & Associates specializes in repairs to existing buildings particularly in concrete structural engineering, concrete repairs, and waterproofing. Due to his extensive background in both engineering and construction, Mr. Batista occasionally acts as an Expert Witness and is a Forensic Engineer for special cases.
Mr. Batista is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Puerto Rico, Louisiana, and Texas. Additionally, he is a Licensed Threshold Inspector for large buildings and high-rises.
